Sarah Baillie

Developmental Educator
Sarah is a qualified Developmental Educator who graduated with a Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education from Flinders University in 2019. Sarah has more than 10 years’ experience working in mental health, child protection and disability in both the private and government sectors. Sarah provides Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), as well as assessment and therapeutic supports across a wide range of functional life skills, in particular, supporting people to live and work as active participants in their community. Sarah is passionate about supporting people to live meaningful and active lives and to ensure a quality of life that everyone deserves with a person centred focus.

Alice Clark

Support Coodinator
Alice is a qualified Support Coordinator, and has worked in the Disability sector for more than 10 years. She and her family have lived in Port Lincoln since 2005 and has a great attachment to the Eyre Peninsula. This reflects in her strong focus with local connections for participants in the regional area. Alice provides Support Coordination, Specialist Support Coordination and support to Younger People Residing in Aged Care. Alice is responsive to Participant’s needs in relation to their NDIS goals, maximising their opportunities through effective communication and coordination. “It’s all about the Participant living their best life!”

Mel Jaeger Waters

Support Coordinator
Mel is an Eyre Peninsula local having been born in Cummins and spending most of her childhood there. Mel has worked in the Aged Care and Disability Sector for over 15 years. Having begun as a qualified Support Worker to further study and obtain a Diploma in Service Coordination. Mel provides Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination. Mel is passionate about clients living independently in the community and accessing the best possible support they can.

Fiona Aldenhoven

Administration & Finance
Fiona is our incredible administration & finance assistant and receptionist, with many years of experience with customer assistance and administration. Fiona lived in Port Lincoln as a child and after living away, returned here over 20 years ago to raise her family. Fiona is proud to provide administration support to a team that supports people with disability, their families and carers on the Eyre Peninsula, who need assistance to achieve their aspirations and inclusion in the community. When you call Strive Support, Fiona will listen to you to, and answer your questions, or assist you to connect to a professional in our team who will provide the best support to help you to achieve your NDIS goals. Clients and their families or carers can contact Fiona to provide feedback about Strive, or assistance with the complaints process to the NDIS.

Samantha Desborough

Developmental Educator
Samantha is a qualified Developmental Educator who graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Disability and Developmental Education from Flinders University. Samantha lives in Adelaide and is passionate about supporting individuals with a disability to reach their full potential and their NDIS goals. Samantha provides a holistic approach when working with participants to increase their capacity in daily living skills, personal care and mental health, advocacy and general wellbeing. Samantha is also a registered Behaviour Support Practitioner and can also provide functional capacity assessments in addition to therapeutic supports. Samantha has capacity to provide support to Participants in Port Lincoln and Adelaide both face to face and through telehealth.
Cougar Austin

Cougar Austin

Support Coordinator
Cougar-Anne is a lifelong resident of Port Lincoln and has been actively engaged in the local community since the age of 14. With a background in administration, hospitality, and volunteer work, she has established deep roots within the community. Her extensive firsthand experiences, coupled with her passion and compassion, uniquely position her to provide valuable support to her participants. Cougar-Anne's dedication ensures that she will effectively assist her participants in achieving their individual goals in her role as a support coordinator.'
